Color: Deep purple.

Aroma: A complex bouquet of red berries, cedar, mint, tobacco, espresso and chocolate.

Taste: Soft coating texture; the rich fruit drives straight across the palate displaying a medium to full bodied intensity. Flavors of cloves, chocolate and lifted purple fruits mingle with the unobtrusive oak.

Wine Spectator Polished, open-textured and distinctive for all the floral notes spinning through the rich cherry, currant, plum and dusky spice flavors, lingering on the refreshing finish. Lavish tannins don't get in the way. Drink now through 2015. Score: 91. —Harvey Steiman, August 31, 2006.

The front palate is loaded with chocolate, mocha and forward fruit—all of the hedonistic sexiness your palate can handle.
