Amber in colour, its bouquet is very intense persistent and complex, reminiscent of dried fruits, spices and vanilla; its taste is fullbodied, persistent and thoroughly unique.

Wine Spectator Loads of mineral character on the nose and palate, with hints of prune and mahogany. Full-bodied and very thick, with a long, lively, salty mineral finish. Another syrupy, big and sweet Vin Santo. Drink now. 80 cases made. Score: 90. —James Suckling, 2005.
