Cesari

Produced in the towns of Negrar, Marano di Valpolicella, Sant’Ambrogio, Fumane, San Pietro in Cariano (the historic area of Valpolicella Classico production). The drying on racks of the Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes until mid January and the ageing in large oak barrels and barriques, together with the long period of rest in bottles, allow us to enjoy this great wine. Amarone has a deep, bright ruby color, a rich, textured, austere taste, and an elegant, lingering finish. Enjoy With: Amarone should be paired with strong, elegant, flavorful cheeses such as parmigiano reggiano, grana padano and gorgonzola. Try it with game or with nuts. This is an impressive wine which should be served last, due to its impressive size. This wine is a wine of contemplation. Port lovers will enjoy this Amarone.

Wine Enthusiast

Cesari’s lush Amarone is particularly good this vintage. This is a standout wine that is distinguished by a pretty mineral note of graphite or flint that frames the fruit in an extremely elegant manner. The effect is quite extraordinary and this dense wine delivers a long, drying finish.
