If you enjoy juicy freshness balanced with invigorating and down right griping acidity, Mons Bregeon’s wines are perfect for you. This delicate yet bracing Muscadet screams oysters from the first nose with warm slate and stone fruit aromas. The palate is all mineral with light citrus notes and crisp finish. Sheer delight.

Wine Advocate

Bregeon’s 2008 Muscadet de Sevre et Maine Sur Lie is bright, refreshing, and impressively concentrated, with oyster shell and salt spray notes in the nose that in turn inflect fresh lime and grapefruit on the palate. Buoyant and vivacious, this finishes with a sense of mineral depth, one of my favorite recent vintages from this grower who has been a beacon of regional quality for more than 35 years. Plan to enjoy it over the next couple of years.
