Alexander Valley Vineyards Chardonnay 2005
This bright flavorful wine was produced from six individual blocks of Chardonnay. Stainless Steel and barrel fermentation with multiple yeast strains, French oak barrel aging on the yeast lees, and partial secondary or malolactic fermentation all combine to present a flavorful and complex wine. Aromas of mandarin orange, pineapple and a hint of lemon combine with rich apple and pear flavors. The wine finishes with great flavor and length. |
