Alario Claudio Barolo Riva 2001
A deep garnet color, this wine is dense and concentrated with classic rose petal and cherry aromas. It acquires balanced chocolate and coconut notes from the small barrels used to age this velvety wine, finishing with great power and depth. Wine Spectator Lots of ripe fruit and toasted oak here follows through to a full-bodied palate, with vanilla and berry aftertaste. Packed with fruit. Juicy, rich wine. Best after 2008.
