This thirst quenching cocktail is an adaption from the one crafted at one of Danny Meyer's fine establishments, The Gramercy Tavern, in New York City. The name of the cocktail plays on both the "rest and relaxation" theme and the use of rose water and raspberries.

8 raspberries
5 drops rose water
8 oz Chilled Black Tea
0.5 oz Simple Syrup
2 oz Michter's Unblended American Whiskey

Fill a tall glass with ice. Thread 3 raspberries onto a small skewer and set aside. Put the remaining raspberries in a cocktail shaker, add 5 drops of rose water and muddle lightly. Add ice, simple syrup, bourbon and tea. Shake vigorously and strain into the glass. Garnish with the skewer and serve.
