It always seems like class is in session when Ian Scudder from Serge Dore joins us for Friday Night Wine Down. He knows so darn much about his portfolio! And the lesson plan for last night was Languedoc and the wines of Domaine Clavel.

For the last 25 years, Pierre Clavel has made wines in the Languedoc region with a rarely matched passion and dedication. His father, Jean Clavel is a famous wine historian and was repsonsible for the AOC designation for the Languedoc region. Asked about his winemaking philosophy Pierre says, “Excellence in what I produce, in all humility, in truthfulness, and the simplest expression of my terroir.” We are pleased to add this amazing Domaine to our portfolio.
