If I have to find a common denominator for these three wines it would be the outstanding values they represent in their particular market segment. Each wine has it's own distinct character and speaks plainly as to where it came from and what it's supposed to be. All pretenses have been stripped away. They are purely delicious and plainly easy to enjoy.

I'll have them open in the store on Saturday, April 19th from 3 pm until 6 pm. Stop by for a taste.

2013 A to Z Wineworks Pinot Gris - $17 the bottle
Fermented and aged in stainless steel for six months. A to Z allows a portion of this wine to undergo maloactic fermentation to allow for texture a slight note of creaminess. However, most of this process is blocked which gives the wine a fresh crisp finish. Intensely aromatic showing big notes of juicy, ripe anjou pear and an underlying talc, flint note. The palate is lightly texture showing overripe apple notes and maintaining it's crisp acidity. There's a strong spiced apple finish that adds depth. A nice introduction to Oregon pinot gris.

2013 Banshee Rosé of Pinot Noir - $20 the bottle
Produced and bottled by Banshee Wines using Sonoma County pinot noir this wine is poised to make quite an impression in the rosé market. Its pale salmon, light copper color is bright and clean. Savory aromas of dried herbs and wet stone are lifted by a strong fresh strawberry note. The palate is seamless and fresh with a subtle white pepper finish. Note the wine is limited. Production was low.

2011 Brancaia "Tre" Toscano Rosso - $24 the bottle
This wine delivers the goods at a very reasonable price. Pure and clean ruby color. Aromatics that develop deeper and deeper tones with time in the glass. Warm cherry pie, sage, tobacco leaf, cedar, black pepper eucalyptus. The nose goes on and on. The palate is firmly structure and packed with fruit. A strong tannic spine keeps the fruit together and guides it to a lengthy finish. The mid-palate has this wonderful creamy cherry note which helps to round the wine and give it more depth. This should not be missed.
