It is very clear that Atlas Peak has redefined its approach to winemaking. The Napa Cabernet is produced from mostly Napa AVA fruit but a good portion comes from Atlas Peak’s Howell Mountain, Spring Mountain and Mount Veeder properties. Cabernet lovers rejoice, this wine is stunning for the price. Pure royal purple color. Stunning aromas of black cherry, blueberry, blackberry, cedar, vanilla bean and notes of green pepper. This is a well-structured Cabernet with tannins that are soft and supple. Finish is lengthy with spice box and notes of toasty oak. Extraordinary wine.

A rich, satisfying Cabernet, packed with blackberry, cherry and mocha flavors, with a touch of herbs and mint. Not quite as dense or concentrated as the winery’s mountain-appellated Cabs, but quite a good one.
