Established since 1850, the Alain Geoffroy estate is a family business growing around 45 hectares and producing Chablis wines that uphold the tradition and authenticity of the terroir. fresh and fruity wines with a great mineral imprint. Today, at the Alain Geoffroy estate, they continue to cherish the vines so that they not only produce wine to satisfy thirst but wines that give pleasure to all. The Chablis is produced on Kimmeridgian geological zones (Jurassic period). The wine’s aromatic richness and strong mineral content comes from this incredible potential of the soil. Look for this wine to display beautiful pale gold, brilliant and luminous. A
youthful look. The nose
is young and fresh with citrus, acacia and warm slate, apple and gun flint. On the palate, the wine is
clear-cut and vigorous. Flowers, lemon and fresh-baked bread come to mind. Rich in tone but soft in texture. The wine screams of classic Chablis! This Chardonnay will pair up with grilled veggies, seared tuna or sip on its own! Many of our clients will remember the Le Meurger Chardonnay which as since disappeared. The Geoffroy is poised to take it’s place.
