Ramos-Pinto Adriano 2004
E-mail this item from Nicholas Roberts Ltd.Ramos-Pinto Adriano 2004 Wine Spectator Medium- to full-bodied, with a firm core of red berry and red plum flavors followed by notes of cream and spice on the chewy finish. Drink now. 7,000 cases imported. Score: 88. —Kim Marcus, August 31, 2007. Wine Enthusiast At three years, Ramos-Pinto’s branded Adriano (named after the founder of the company) is at its best. This 2004 vintage is big-hearted, with bitter chocolate and blackberry fruits, as well as generous tannins. Good, dry structure and fresh acidity complete a rounded picture. Score: 87. —Roger Voss, September 01, 2007. Wine Advocate The 2004 “Adriano” is fragrant and grapy, almost sappy in the modest mid-palate. It has light tannins, and is very bright and sunny. This is a wine that is charming and fun, and it evolved nicely in the glass. The structure is modest, but it is beautifully balanced and a fair deal in its price range. I liked it a little better than its 2003 counterpart. Drink 2007-2010. Score: 86. February 2007. |
